Yeah Baby

I shall be uncoolly Dad-dancing to the sensational soul sounds of the celebrated Misters Rob Ryan, Mick Beirne and our very own Ms Dusty Sevens at 99p Soul tomorrow night.

Here's something glorious in anticipation and for all those of you unfortunate enough not to live within a nightbus ride's distance of London's premier budget basement event for the mature soul freak.

I shall require a beverage.

  17. Well I'm a bit grumpy that I don't live in London anymore. But then .. the North ..
Had a nice day in the sun at the cricket in Leeds today - Yorkshire v soft southern Surrey.
Lovely al fresco lunch in Beverley tomorrow. Then the Happy Mondays at the open air auditorium in Scarborough tomorrow night. Full English/hangover Sun morn and watching thousands 'Run For Life' on the prom in Bridlington (including daughter).

  19. Sounds like a good chain of events that Dickie. Beverley's nice. You can get stickers saying 'I've been inside Beverley Minster'. Which seems to have a double meaning.

  20. Funnily enough SA, Beverley the name stems from 'a Beaver clearing'. The Beaver pub is somewhere I often pop into - as it has Sky Sports!
