Yeah Baby

We're pushing it with this in early September I know, especially after 'Harvest Home' and all, but 'Ian just driving back from Margate to London' asked Trevor Nelson to play it on the radio the other night and good for you Ian just driving, because it's lovely.

If you listened to Robbie Vincent's Soul Shows in the mid-80s I'm told you might know it well; me, I heard it this week for the very first time. And all I know about the McCrarys is here.

Did Lady Summer quit your scene? Then turn up the music baby, and dream...

The McCrarys - 'Love On A Summer Night' (extended mix) (1982)

  4. Anyone else remember a guide to healthy eating-type programme that Robbie Vincent used to present on BBC1 of a weekday evening in the mid-80s? Or did I just imagine that? It was one of those shows where they get an ordinary family and show them how much food they eat over the course of a month or whatever, handily illustrated by piling up said shedloads of food on a big table, and then making them vow to adopt a healthier lifestyle.. (sort of like Gillian McKeith only without the rudeness and stool inspections.)

Welcome back, Dickie! I trust you had an agreeable time on your hols. (And if not, why not?)

  5. Sounds promising - I haven't heard it yet. Is anyone else finding Mediafire very slow tonight?

  16. Just been hosing the sand from me crack.

Oh how I missed you all.

Small incident with a donkey in a lift. Other than that, Spain was just bueno, like. Full of Brits though - whinging about the Euro and the heat and the foreigners and the Watneys Red Barrel.

The first 5 mins of this just about covers it:
