  2. I must confess i am more than a tad perplexed this evening, well more so than normal.

If everybody thought that Mandela was such a great guy why the fuck was he in prison for twenty seven years and why did this country support the white supremacist government?

if there is one thing worse than smug tory bastards, it's hypocritical tory bastards .

  3. I vividly remember the Federation Of Conservative Students 'Hang Mandela' posters. And in the other hand, walking past Barclays Bank in Brixton daily to see the red paint removed from the day before back again by sundown; the Nelson Mandela Hall at Uni whose name the same FCS objected to. We should not be smug. But it was good to be on the right side, and I cried real tears last night,

  4. On a more comedic angle I remember reading an interview with the Farm just after Mandela was released. Peter Hooton said ,27 years in an awful prison and hes still better dressed than Tony Wilson when he walks out,. Makes me chuckle for some reason

  7. That's it. I've always found Moz very funny and his book doesn't disappoint on that front: and it is so beautifully written, even the 40 pages on the court case everyone complains about are *spunky*

  9. Guilty as charged - for in the end we shall be defined by our passions, they are what makes us US

  10. Not sure I wish to be defined by my passions, well not the ones I don't disclose anyway.
