The Smiling Hour

Last night I went to a 'do' and stayed up very late, or was it early, drinking outrageously priced gin and tonics bought for me on someone else's expense account and generally doing the schmoosy sorts of things I do not habitually do.

Today has not been entirely productive.

I shall require an early night.

And some sweet, sweet Nancy.

  1. Can't do the arse licking not in my nature, the face always gives it away. But for a good gin and tonic I would give it a go.

Have a good one Mr H.

  4. Thing is, I say I'll have an early night, but I probably won't. I am pathologically unable to of a Friday or Sat. In fact, I think I even might say hello to a little drink in a bit.

  5. I'm going to say hello to a nice bottle of Riptide just as soon as I've shut down the work laptop and drawn a veil over the working week in about 30 seconds time.

Even when not drinking I find it impossible to go to bed early on a Friday night too Davy it just feels like such a waste even if you're doing sod all.

I'm off to a surprise birthday party for Spizz Energi. Which will be a surprise for him, as he won't have a bloody clue who I am...I just know a mate of his

Cheers, chin, chin and I'm away for an egg and chips hunt (drinkers rule eat your tea)

PS I can never do any early one either Drew it feels all wrong

In the shed avec extra brandy ce soir. I used to have a St Bernard attached to it (the brandy, not the shed), but what wiv the recession n all.

Guinea pigs' cucumber has only gorn and frozen tonight. Poor Pepsi n Shirley.
(The guineas are called Ben and Jerry, I was just got to wondrin' how Pepsi n Shirley are getting on).

Friday night. Can't match Mondo's exploits. I'll end up falling asleep in front of Kirsty Wark again. She must be fed up about it.

  14. Well, I did enjoy that.

Cocker: 'Whales & dolphins; I feel a concept album coming on. It's building up inside me'.

Hawley: 'There's a surgical procedure for that'.

  15. That's why I love the BBC and Radio 4 in particular. Nobody else would commission a programme like that. It was most enjoyable.
