Yeah Baby

This cracker from ye olde Vinyl District freebie shuffled up on the iPo the other day as the sun burst through bruise-coloured clouds: bluesy, blousy and blowy,  it's a surefire Friday choon.

I am home. It's not late. I shall require a beverage, oh yeah.

  2. Presumably you thought long and hard before choosing that photo of Sharon.

  3. I did, as a matter of fact. Because I feared it'd set Dickie off, and not in a good way.

  9. No muffler to be found.

Large gin Glo, and one for the others if I'm going to be skint next week better do it properly.

I was listening to M People last night and it was alright, granted it was only How Can I Love You More, none of the later stuff.

  10. Listening to M People is something I've never done. Am I missing something? Should I search for the hero inside myself, Glo?

  11. Waste of time Davy, you had to be there at the time?

I'll tell you who you should listen to LeThug one of Matthew's bands, sort of One Dove mixed with My Bloody Valentine.

    1. @Drew, loving this track, but is the group called 'Le Thug' or 'LeThug'? Looking them up on soundcloud etc., there's no consistency. Neither iTunes nor my OCD tendencies can handle this!

    2. plague, not sure I have seen it as both I tend to go for LeThug, looks better

  17. I said as much to Matthew in an email, there is a song posted on Song By Toad called Swam which I can imagine Optimo remixing and doing for it what Mr Weatherall did for Soon.

  19. Evenin' all.
Who's riled Gloria? Let her have some Burning Love or there'll be no lock-in.
Blimey. That Sharon Jones is a vest challenger. Whoa. Makes Serena Williams look like Billy String-Bean. Could suffocate a Londoner from 20 paces.
Quite a song too. Left me all tongue out and wrung out on the laminate floor.
