New (To Me) Soul Music Tuesday



I utterly, utterly love this and have pretty much only just discovered it/him.

We'll certainly have to describe it as hard-hitting funk-soul from the James Brown mould, with a contemporary kick (OW!).

    Man, that is a good tune, vaguely familiar but i would be lying if i said that I had heard this before.

    Just became the proud owner of a Technics 630 tape deck, beautiful and chunky (http://www.nrpavs.co.nz/Images/Technics_RS-630T_500x360_pixels.gif). Put in a Billy Bragg bootleg from a gig I was at in 1986 and the bugger snapped, bloody c120 tapes.
