That is rather a niece way to start the weekend. Great bass sound on that.Have a good one Mr H.re this Is England, Am I the only person in the world that thinks it's not a bad song?
I think the consensus is it's the only decent thing on Cut The Crap.
I really like his stuff with the Mescaleros mind.
I like the Mescaleros stuff as well and also the solo stuff, Earthquake Weather is magic.http://www.box.net/shared/kuh3yrlfmrNot the best of rips, will need to do again but you get theidea.
I'd forgotten all about that album: remember reading how good it was but don't have it - I'll have to track it down; you're a star.
I'll rip it again and send you the link.I know I'm stating the obvious but Guinness just isn't any good out of cans.
Or in Cannes.
bit soggy over there at the moment.I'm off to the Dordogne in a fortnight en vacances can't wait.wv - winestri, oh yes
I nearly blubbed. It's nearly 8 years already...where did that go?
Earthquake weather and the Mescaleros stuff is great. As is This Is England. And Joe would ve been so proud of the England team's performance tonight....
Hang on, this is White Man in Hamersmith Palais... one of the high points of western civilsation
I've been to Hammersmith Palais - saw The Damned there summer '82. Tubes and buses were up the spout and came home on the paper train (delivering, not made of). 1 hours sleep than had to help out at the parents newsagents. Laying out the very same papers I'd just travelled home with. Sorry I seem to have drifted.
It was a good drift Mond...
My parents met at the Hammy Palais. I saw lots of concerts there too, great venue.
