  5. Ah my, I have been spinning this one recently as part of my 'February Blues' / 'i can't stand it' mix. Staggeringly good. And of course next month we can have 'Melancholy March'! I have made a start on that mix already. Not that I'm a pessimist or nothin'...

  7. I keep returning to this, I love her voice - but I think I love the picture even more.

(makes low growling sound - now who's being smutty?!)

  8. ... er, yes, etc!

    On another topic entirely:
I just noticed on your lastFM last played Heidi Berry - Northshore Train. What a coincidence - somebody just sent me a Creation Records compilation album (for free- they didn't have a turntable!) and this track was on it. Had never heard of her before but love this track.

  11. Yes it is that compilation! Oh gawd, I have no recollection of those old posts of yours. So many blogs, so much music... blah blah.

Another coincidence with the HB post date too.

c1988 was very much a low interest point for me music wise - not long married, first proper house, our daughter was born in '88 so, you know, enough going on.
What with the Creation Records comp and a Brilliant Corners album I picked up recently a whole new (old) musical vista is opening up for me.
