Hell, I live in Scotland and I felt pretty damn emotional about it all. Less pleased to wake up this morning and discover the New Labour candidate had won a by-election in Fife, being as the candidate is a smug git, but Barack Obama victory has kept me smiling all week.
I think it was only yesterday that I stopped getting misty at the thought of Obama's win. When has THAT ever happened...with GOOD reason, that is...? (Indeed, I wept alot during the Bush years for wholly different reasons...!)
Has something happened in America then? ;)
