  3. Great stuff. I grew up listening to Hank Williams. He was one of my dad's favourites. He always used to say he couldn't really sing but he sounded good. Not sure I agree but I know what he was trying to say.

  6. Just went downstairs to shove some music on and start cooking the prawn gumbo. Girlies watching The Swan Princess on DVD (86 minutes). Harrumph and double harrumph.

  7. Know whatcha mean daveey. Have had to retire to the shed as daughter watching some cack film on Disney Channel.

Did I tell you I met Glen Tilbrook of the now touring Squeeze? He was getting out of his infamous camper van parked outside the O2 Academy as I was walking up to work. He was having a big early morning stretch as he surveyed the sun glinting over the icy golden owls atop Leeds Civic Hall.

We chatted awhile and he seemed cheery and at one with the world.

I would recommend that you go see Squeeze as they travel the UK just now.

Any way, I needed a jolly big St Bernard sized brandy tonight to thaw the frozen extremities.

  8. DVD, hobnobbing with the stars again.
It's cool for cats. Actually, I think they're coming to Hammersmith. Will make an effort.

God, I'd love a brandy now. We're out. I think all we have is the malt whisky I stopped drinking several winters ago.

    Perhaps I'll...

  9. We've got some cheap brandy on top of the fridge for making christams puddings. Not that I can get it to you via the comment box though
