A Mood, A Time, A Place

I would take this to my desert island.

For Colin, who wanted a sad song.

  3. I know this record is very much of its time and place but don't you just wish that she had recorded another sublime solo album like this rather than the electronica of her last solo album

  5. I liked what I heard of the 'Into The Woods' album and I truly love her for living in the Now - begorrah though Peewit, it's a thrilling concept - a solo Tracey acoustic 25 years on...Maybe it's still to come?

Colin, I will take a random shuffle from those four happy moments. That seems like pretty good odds...x

  6. I've had this album on vinyl since the early 80s and I don't think I've ever played it all the way through. I've always thought there's something there and I'll get into it one day but it seems the time has never been quite right.

  7. gee how i adored this - i stormed out of school astounded at the insensetive idiot boys who thought it was a good thing to play to a bunch of oafs at lunchtime. it still stuns me now - i mean what were they thinking... impress the girls with your soft feely side or something i guess. it's a good job i wasn't armed.
